He gave me some of the best childhood memories that I still cherish to this day. Iced buns after playschool, adventures in the woods with his dogs Annie and Harvey, driving to exciting places in his old red Volvo and running around and playing Ghostbusters with Tom in his cottage garden. Thank you so much for being a Grandad to me, I will always hold these memories close to my heart.

Ron was such a special friend to me and I have so many memories of him. He was kind, wise intelligent and of course that wonderful sense of humour. I remember when we were all in that log cabin in America and just about to eat our deserts. Ron came round the table with his shaving cream aerosol trying to make out it was cream and sent us all into hysterics. He achieved so much in his life and was always game for everything, ie treking in the jungle in Thailand with me and Polly which included riding elephants and shooting the rapids on bamboo rafts! No words can sum up Ron all I can say is that he really was a special man. Rest in peace Ron. Lots of love Maggie xxx

I have known Ron for over 25 years since he came to play in Big Pyramid band. He always made me laugh with his quick thinking puns and word associations. I was very fond of him.
